Welcome to the iNANO open innovation platform

iNANO is the first platform in Québec and Canada making it possible to:

• Submit technological challenges to a large research community

• Uncover avenues for solution

• Find partners

• Develop collaborative projects

• Access funding

Industrial challenges are posted anonymously and free of charge on the iNANO platform.

Researchers in every sector will be invited to submit solutions to the challenges.

Once the collaborative project has been defined, it will be possible for NSERC, NRC-IRAP, NanoQuébec and/or other partners to propose different fundind avenues.

Significant data (since March 2012):

• +120 industrial challenges were submitted to the research community
• +70 companies submitted challenges
• 82 % of compagnies submitting a challenge were SMEs
• More than 27 collaborative projects after matching (as April 1st)
  
• More than $8M in funding allocated by financial partners (as April 1st)
